ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

BSESS Program
To be eligible for admission to this program, applicants must meet the general admission requirements. Must pass the university entrance examination (IQ– Above Average or higher) and an average grade of 80% or higher during Grade 11 Junior High; two (2) 2x2 ID picture with white background; physically fit and pass the physical fitness test.

BPE Program
To be eligible for admission to this program, applicants must meet the general admission requirements. Must be at least 16 years of age when programs begins, pass the university entrance examination (IQ – Above or higher) an average grade of 85% or higher during their senior high; two (2) 2x2 ID picture with white background; physically fit and pass the motor achievement test. For “special admission” applicants who failed to obtain the stated average may present any certification as proof that they are a competitive athlete of any sports and an active member of a dance troupe/organization and have participated/competed in any local, regional, national and international competition.

DPE Program
Applicants for admission to the DPE program must have the following qualifications. Holders of any Bachelor’s Degree, pass the Motor Achievement Test, submit to the Director of Admission the original Transcript of Records (GPA = 2.0 or better) and two (2) 2x2 ID Pictures.

Graduate Program
Applicants seeking admission to the MSPE program must be a holder of Bachelor of Physical Education (BPE), Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSE) major in Physical Education, Diploma in Physical Education and obtained a general average of 2.0 or better in their undergraduate major.

Applicants who are non-physical Education major are required to take 24 units of the identified required subjects of the undergraduate major course in Physical Education or enroll in the DPE Program.

Application for admission will be processed and evaluated by the CHK Graduate Program Office not later than June 30 for 1st semester (August) admission, November 30 for 2nd semester (January) admission, and April 30 for summer (June) admission, and shall include a copy of the Official Transcript of Records, application fee and four (4) 2x2 ID Pictures, service records, PSA (Birth Certificate if single, Marriage contract of married). Permit to study from supervisor if employed.
