CTE faculty wins best dissertation for NSTP study
Dr. Arnulfo C. Capili, a faculty from the College of Teacher Education, graduated with flying colors at the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University garnering the Best Dissertation and Highest GPA awards last March 22, 2013.
His dissertation titled “Values Promotion Through the National Service Program (NSTP) Among Higher Education Institutions of Benguet, Philippines” was selected the best among dissertations from different fields by nationally-acclaimed judges.
ROTC students garner 7 awards in summer camps
The BSU ROTC Unit earned seven top awards out of ten awards given by the AFP from the two summer camps, Reserve Officer Training Corps Summer Camp Training (RSCT) and Advance Reserve Officer Corps Academic Phase Training (ARAPT).
The BSU ROTC Unit sent 15 students to undergo the RSCT Class 2013 from April 15 to May 10, 2013 at Camp Lt. Tito B. Abat based at Manaoag, Pangasinan. The successful completion of this training qualifies mentees to become Second Class ROTC officers (Passing the MS 31 and MS 32 subjects).
BSU ROTC Unit retains RAATI over-all championship
Garnering 92.12 points, the BSU ROTC Unit topped this year’s Officer Training Corps Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) participated by 14 schools.
