US Deputy Chief of Missions, Brian Goldbeck, was in BSU on December 6, 2012 to interact with the players and coaches of the BSU Football Club and selected players from La Trinidad that US Peace Corps volunteer, Steven Klimberg, has been working with.
BSU lists 86.47% LET Board passing rate: Dionisio as the 10thPlacer
As expected, BSU has surpassed the national passing rate for the Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) conducted on September 30, 2012.
Examinees from the BSU-Main Campus listed a passing rate of 86.47% surpassing the national passing rate of 49.29%. Martes D. Dionisio led the successful examinees as the 10th Placer on the Secondary Level with an average of 87.20%.

Kagawa University professor, Koh-en Yamauchi, discussed the effectiveness of wood charcoal powder including vinegar liquid (Nekka Rich®) in enhancing livestock production during the RDE Seminar Series on mokusaku techology for crop and animal production on November 27, 2012.
BSU athletes emerge as the 2012 CARASUC champions
University athletes came home as champions from the recently-concluded Cordillera Administrative Region Association of State Universities and Colleges (CARASUC) Sports Competition and Cultural Festival held last November 21 to 24, 2012 at the Kalinga Athletic Sports Complex in Tabuk City. The BSU delegation garnered 25 gold, 23 silver, and 7 bronze medals from the different ball and indoor games played during the meet.
