Academics
The University offers affordable undergraduate and graduate education in agriculture, education, forestry, health science, physical and social sciences, and the arts. It also offers short courses in selected fields such as agroforestry, entrepreneurial and automotive technology.
It is the only institution in the Philippines that offers curricular program in semi-temperate agriculture in view of its climatic condition. Indigenous knowledge are integrated in its academic courses and other functions as it is located in the Cordillera where most of the people belong to cultural communities.
The university invests on its physical resources such as modern laboratory equipment and updated instructional materials to keep abreast with current trends and directions in instruction. Teachers are encouraged to earn advanced degrees and attend conferences and fora on their lines of discipline.

The University had dormitories for men and women, cafeteria, a clinic that provides dental and medical services, a fully automated library with an OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) & Library Information Services (LIBRIS), indoor and outdoor sports facilities, a marketing center, a souvenir shop and a post office to cater to the needs of students.
ATM banks, internet cafes, fast food shops, malls and hospitals are also located near the campus.
ACADEMIC CALENDAR
The University Academic Calendar consists of two semesters and one summer. The first semester is from June to October, the second semester is from November to March, and the summer term from April to May.
BSU COLLEGE QUALIFYING EXAM
The BSU-CQE is the primary admission requirement to become a BSU student. It is administered by the Office of Student Affairs.
