February 13, 2024| In pursuit of world rankings and internationalization, 11 personnel from Northwest Samar State University (NwSSU) came to Benguet State University to benchmark BSU’s journey on the Times Higher Education (THE) and World's Universities with Real Impact (WURI) rankings.

NwSSU Vice President for Academic Affairs, Ramil S. Catamora said that the activity would help them gain insights and strategies towards achieving world rankings.

Processes, best practices, documentation requirements, and challenges encountered by BSU in pursuit of the said global rankings were shared with the visitors by the BSU THE and WURI committee members namely: Beverly C. Sa-ao, also the director of Office for Quality Assurance and Accreditation; Joana I. Alafag; Janice P. Balangen; and Lynn J. Talkasen.

The activity concluded with a visit to the Marketing Center and Strawberry Farms.//EBawayan
