DSWD conducts Focused Group Discussion for graduates and students

Personnel from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Central Office and Cordillera Regional Office conducted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) at the RSDC Hall with BSU graduates and students who ere beneficiaries of the Cash for Work (CFW) program last April 18.

This is under the National Project Management of the Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (Kalahi-CIDDS). Participants of the said FGD finished their 90- day temporary employment in government offices last April 18, 2024. The CFW program is intended to provide and students fresh college graduates opportunities to work within government offices to gain experience and be financially empowered. More than 20 beneficiaries participated in the FGD facilitated by Lorraine S. Ariola and Cecille F. Foman-eg from DSWD Central Office; Pralyne S. Kedian-Busacay and staff from DSWD-CAR; and Ramon C. Fiangaan of the Vocational Placement Unit-BSU.//EBawang
