In an effort to advance gender and equality, the Guimaras State University visited BSU- Gender and Development Office to learn about the best practices, efforts, strategies and experiences in promoting gender equality in the academic sector and the community.

The visitors from GSU were warmly welcomed by Gender and Development Director Estrelita M. Daclan and members of the Gender and Development Office.

The benchmarking activity included comprehensive discussions and sharing of best practices of BSU GAD, such as training programs, inclusive policies and guidelines, collaboration with the communities, and other efforts to promote gender equality.

To conclude, the GSU visitors thanked the BSU administration and the GAD office for welcoming them and engaging with them. They hope that the visit strengthens their partnership and collaboration with BSU.
