BSU andCSPC Ink MOA for Adjuct Faculty

Dr. Felipe Salaing Comila, president of Benguet State University (BSU), and Dr. Charlito P. Cadag, president of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC), signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for an adjunct faculty at the RDC Hall on February 22, 2023.

This endeavor will satisfy one of the requirements set by the Commission on Higher Education in CSPC’s pursuit of becoming a full-fledged University, which is to comply with the required number of faculty with master’s and doctorate degrees. To help address the gap in the Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing (PhDN) program’s faculty, the CSPC has chosen BSU as a partner in upgrading its instructional and research capability and sustaining the delivery of quality education and services. With this, both parties agreed that BSU will provide an adjunct faculty with PhDN to teach at CSPC through the MOA.

Moreover, CSPC President Dr. Cadag expressed his utmost gratitude for BSU’s assistance in their turning into a university. Afterward, officials shared a toast to strengthen the bond between the two institutions.

Among the witnesses for the MOA signing were Vice-president for Academic Affairs Dr. Samuel Salay Poliden, Open University Director Dr. Leonard T. Apilis, College of Nursing (CN) Dean Vicente G. Panagan Jr., CN Secretary Dr. Jude L. Tayaben, CN Department Chair of Clinical Instruction Glenn Ryan I. Palao-ay, and other CSPC officials.//KAcosta (BAEL Intern)
