Delegates from the Ifugao State University (IFSU) Gender and Development Office visited Benguet State University (BSU) on November 17, 2023, to learn and adopt some of the best practices and strategies of the BSU GAD Office.

BSU GAD Staff Ms. Feljorie Afidchao and Ms. Hylinn B. Pawid, with BSU GAD Technical Working Group Member Ms. Jocelyn Mauting, welcomed the visitors. Afterward, the group had a discussion with the BSU GAD Director and Budget Office Supervising Administrative Officer, Dr. Estrellita M. Daclan at the VPAF Conference Room. The discussion included the efforts, strategies, and implementation mechanisms of the university to support and advocate gender equality for both employees and students of BSU.

The visitors also had the opportunity to visit the lactation station at the College of Home Economics and Technology and childminding center of the university at the College of Agriculture.
