Benguet State University (BSU), through the College of Arts and Humanities (CAH), formalized its partnership with the Municipality of Tublay in a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed on March 2, 2023, at the BSU President’s Office. University President Felipe Salaing Comila and Tublay Mayor, Hon. Armando I. Lauro signed the two-year partnership which involves the CAH Departments of Filipino, English, and Arts and Communication. 

The MOA contained provisions that the CAH departments would give training, seminars, workshops, consultancy services, and other programs in the fields of Communication, Arts, Language, and Literature (CALL) upon request of the municipality. In turn, the municipality of Tublay will take charge of organizing the activities in coordination with BSU and based on the approved request. 

This partnership is expected to promote knowledge sharing and community development as well as strengthen the relationship between BSU and the Municipality of Tublay.
