BSU welcomed 46 Scout Officers for a Day (SOFAD) on October 14, 2019 as an annual event by the Department of Education (DepEd). These scout officers “substituted” officials of participating agencies during that day.
Etag is a native delicacy in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) made of pork cured in salt and then sun-dried or smoked. The flavor of this delicacy may soon be enjoyed in the form of granules, cubes and liquid seasoning.

450 BSU student volunteers joined the International Coastal Cleanup on September 26, 2019. Students were able to collect 150 sacks of trash along Tabangaoen, Central and Cabanao Balili, and Km. 6 Benguet State University, La Trinidad Benguet.
