With its aims to strengthen agricultural development modalities and practices in their localities, a team of 17 delegates led by Ms. Regielyn Degway of the Local Governance and Community Development Initiatives, Inc (LGCDI) held a benchmarking activity at Benguet State University on August 10, 2023.

The participants included vice-mayors, sangguniang bayan members, and city agriculturists from the provinces of Leyte, Biliran, and Davao del Sur. They visited different facilities and gathered agriculture-related best practices from the three Research and Extension Centers, including the Agri-based Technology Business Incubator/Innovation Center, Northern Philippines Root Crops Research and Training Center, and Food Science Research and Innovation Center, and the Benguet Agri-Pinoy Trading Center.

The visitors also were warmly welcomed by BSU President Felipe Salaing Comila at the Office of the University President.
