20 February 2024| Twenty-six delegates from the Cavite State University (CvSU) Office of the Vice President for Planning and Development Office were at Benguet State University to conduct a benchmarking activity on planning and quality assurance.

BSU Planning Unit director, Melvin John Aromin and Office for Quality Assurance and Accreditation director, Beverly C. Sa-ao shared best practices of the said offices and accommodated the visitors’ inquiries on BSU land area, accreditations, global ranking processes, and others.  A possible collaboration between CvSU and BSU was also discussed.

Afterwards, BSU President Felipe Salaing Comila delivered an inspirational message emphasizing the importance of having “grit” in leadership.

The delegates expressed their appreciation for the fruitful activity. The activity ended with a visit to the Marketing Center, one of the income-generating projects of BSU.//BTayaban (UPAO Staff-Intern)
