BPSU conducts benchmarking activity at BSU

With its aim to enhance its academic services to students, 11 personnel from the Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) visited Benguet State University (BSU) on May 8, 2024 to learn from the best practices of the Open University (OU) and the Office of the Student Services (OSS).

The activity commenced with a warm welcome from OU Director Leonardo Apilis and OSS Director Erlyn Honeylette Marquez with their teams at the RDC Hall.

Lourdes S. Santos, director of the Center for Alternative-Flexible Teaching Learning and Innovative Instructions (CAFTLII) of BPSU, also introduced her team and expressed their willingness to learn from the operations of OU and OSS that they can adopt to improve their programs and services.

Afterwards, the OU and OSS personnel provided the visitors with an overview of the milestones, programs, and services of the said offices. Shamms Sherrick L. Sale, OU staff, also introduced the OU’s website and its features. This was followed by the open forum where inquiries from the visitors were accommodated.
