Delegates from Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU), headed by BPSU President Dr. Ruby S. Matibag, visited Benguet State University (BSU) on October 9, 2023, to benchmark the best practices of the latter on procurement and income-generating projects.

BSU President Felipe Salaing Comila welcomed the visitors at the RDC Hall and shared inspirational messages and experiences as a leader of the University.

During the sharing of best practices, Bids and Awards Committee for Goods and Services Vice-Chairperson Mr. Bryan C. Bangnan, together with BAC member Ms. Sheila Mary V. Basquial and BAC Secretariat Member Ms. Jocelyn L. Mauting, answered the questions and queries of the visitors regarding procurement operations in the university.

Both universities had a productive discussion on how to address challenges in their respective procurement processes and enhance transparency and accountability in their institutions.

Meanwhile, other members of the BPSU team visited the different income-generating projects of the BSU, including the Bakery, Food Processing Center, and Marketing Center.

This collaborative effort between BPSU and BSU highlights the importance of knowledge sharing and cooperation among educational institutions.
