BSU receives Campus Press Award

BSU holds ‘Courtesy for Institution Awardee ’ title . Dr. Grace Bengwayan, University and Board Secretary, representing Benguet State University (BSU) receives a plaque from SPAM, Inc. president Melanie Briones after BSU was adjudged the winner of the covetous “Courtesy for Institutions Award” during the 7th SPAM conference held at Tagbilaran City, Bohol this year.

BSU surpasses nat’l passing rates for GC and Vet Licensure exams: Two examinees make it at 5th and 6th place

The University has surpassed the national passing rates for the Guidance Counselor and Veterinarian Licensure Examinations with two graduates achieving 5th and 6th place.

BSU’s new guidance counselors have listed a passing rate of 66.67% surpassing the national passing rate of 41.19%.

US university professor lectures in RDE seminar series

Dr. Bharathan Narayanaswamy, professor of Plant Pathology and Molecular Biology at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, USA was in BSU on September 16, 2013 for the RDE Seminar Series.

The topic he presented and discussed were the results of his work on Modern Approaches to Detection of Biological Agents Using Biosensors and Functional Genomics of Host Pathogen Interactions in Fungal Pathosystems.
