      The college of teacher education (CTE) traces its roots from three significant course offerings: the 2-year special normal course in 1930; the 2 year associate in agricultural education in 1956. Subsequently, the college completed its teacher education programs with enriched curricula for bachelor of elementary education and bachelor of secondary education effective the first semester of the school year 1999-2000.

MISSION

     The preparation of globally competitive teachers who are imbued with the ideals, aspirations and traditions of Philippine life and are sufficiently equipped with pedagogical knowledge and skills

OBJECTIVES

1. To development of relevant professional knowledge, skills and competencies; of positive      Filipino-oriented educational leadership; and attitudes and values.
2. Upliftment of Professionalism and commitment to teaching.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

1. High School graduate with good scholastic standing (HS average of at least 85% with no      grade lower than 85% in Math and Science)
2. Passed the BSU admission Test (Rating not lower than 85%)
3. Original BPS Form 138 marked "Eligible" and has not been cancelled by other institutions
4. Two (2) copies 2 x 2 ID picture (full front with white background)
5. Certificate of good moral character and photocopy of birth certificate
