Organic Agricultural Program

The University Organic Agriculture Program supports the universal call for ecologically sound and sustainable agriculture practices by adopting the concept of organic agriculture. Designed to promote BSU as a pro-organic university the program hopes to turn out graduates who are prepared to provide technical support to the organic agricultural industry, generate technologies that promote long term productivity of farms, and the production of safe food for all.

Organic Agriculture
Organic agriculture is the use of agricultural methods and practices that are considered to be ecologically sound and sustainable (OCCP, 2003). A holistic approach and a variety of natural processes are involved.
