Application for BSU-College Qualifying Examination (BSU-CQE)

      The Office of Student Affairs announces its application period for the BSU- College Qualifying Examination (BSU-CQE) for School Year 2009-2010. The result of the BSU-CQE is the primary requirement to be admitted in any baccalaureate degree offered in the University.

     Students qualified to take the examination are A.) Students enrolled in their Senior Year in High school, B.) High School Graduates who have not enrolled in any tertiary level school, and C.) Tertiary level students who wish to transfer to Benguet State University.

     Qualified applicants are required to submit the following: 1.) Duly accomplished Application Form; 2.)Certified true copy or certified photocopy of the original High School Form 138 (High School Report Card); 3.) Certification of good moral character from the high school Principal or Guidance Counselor; 4.) Testing Fee Receipt of Php. 100.00 (pay at the BSU-Cashier's Office, Administration Building); and 5.) Two pieces 2x2 ID picture (in white background and no obstructing facial features). Transferees are required to present a certified true copy of their Official Transcript of Records and Certification of good moral character from the last school they attended in place of their high school report cards.

     Submission and processing of requirements will be done at the Office of Student Affairs- Guidance and Counseling Unit starting on August 4, 2008 and the deadline will be on October 30, 2008. Only applicants with the complete set of requirements will be processed and given a Test Permit. Due to the volume of applications processed toward the deadline, it is recommended that high school applicants submit their requirements to their school guidance counselor, adviser, or any appointed representative of the high school to file as a group a month before the deadline. Individual applicants are requested to apply in person at the onset of the application period to accommodate processing of other documents that may be required.

     The dates of examination will be on November 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, 30, 2008; December 6 and 7, 2008
