BSU takes another step to achieve its vision of becoming a premier state university in Southeast Asia as it became the top performing school under category B, April 2008 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).

     BSU surpassed the 50% passing percentage to become a top performing school by 1% with 55 passers out of 107 examinees.

     According to Dr. Mary Jane Laruan, Dean of the College of Teacher Education , the result is a pride of the college and the university.

     "This reflects that the faculty members of the college are doing their best to mold the pre-service students to be more effective teachers in the future," she added.

     The university shared the limelight with the top performing schools under category A which includes; Mindanao State University , University of the Philippines-Diliman, and Saint Louis University.
