Benguet State University has been chosen as one of the five testing centers for the administration of National Veterinary Admission Test (NVAT). This has been the decision of the committee on NVAT because BSU has the most number of applicants in northern Luzon . For the past years, applicants from BSU-CVM took the exam at Central Luzon State University (CLSU); however, starting this year the applicants will take the examination at BSU-CVM. The 4 th National Veterinary Admission Test will be conducted on the 5 th of April, 2008 at 8 o'clock in the morning to 12 o' clock noon at the BSU-CVM.

     The other testing centers are: Southwestern University, Villa Aznar, Urgello St. , Cebu City , University of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City , University of the Philippines Los Banos, Laguna and University of Southwestern Philippines , Obrero, Davao City . NVAT applicants may take the examination in any of the test sites of his/her choice.

     The National Veterinary Admission Test (NVAT) is an examination given to all incoming students to the four-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) proper or professional program in accredited veterinary colleges. This is given in addition to the college admission requirements stipulated in the CHED minimum standards for DVM program.
