Thirty-four of the 1,068 graduating students are academic achievers, their grades equivalent to Cum laude. They will be leading the graduation rites on April 20, 2007 at the BSU Closed Gym. The two top academic achievers are Israel B. Dao-anis, a Bachelor in Secondary Education major, and Escarlet B. Mayapit, Bachelor of Science in Agriculture both have a general weighted average of 1.51. The other academic achievers are:

     The College of Teacher Education (CTE) has the most number of candidates for graduation with 460 from the main campus, 38 from the Buguias campus, and 99 from Bokod campus. The College of Agriculture (CA) follows with 197 graduates, College of Home Economics (CHET) 119, College of Nursing (CN) with 111, the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) 68, College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) 36, College of Engineering and Applied Technology (CEAT) with 36 candidates for Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering, 45 Certificate in Advanced Automotive Technology, and 4 Certificate in Basic Automotive Technology. The College of Forestry (CF) has 15 candidates for Bachelor of Science in Forestry and one for the Forest Ranger Certificate Course. The Graduate School has 13 Doctorate Degree candidates and 116 Master's degree candidates. There are also six Master's degree and three Diploma course candidates from the Open University.

     The Commencement program for the Colleges of Teacher Education, Nursing, and Arts and Sciences will start at 9:00 AM with. At 1:30PM , it will be the Colleges of Veterinary Medicine, Engineering and Applied Technology, Agriculture, Forestry; and the Open University, Graduate School , and the Institute of Physical Education and Sports.
