The
Civil Service Commission, in celebration of the 109th Philippine Civil
Service Anniversary gave the Public Service Delivery Audit Award (PASADA)
to deserving government agencies.
The Extension Office of the Benguet State University was among the six
government agencies that were given the PASADA award out of the 20 government
agencies based in La Trinidad.
The PASADA award was based on the report of the PASADA volunteers deputized
by the CSC-Benguet Field Office who assessed the government agencies
in terms of the personal disposition of employees who are frontline
service providers, the quality of their service in terms of structure,
systems and procedure and how the physical setup of the office affects
the experience of the clients in availing the service.
Meanwhile the university’s Program on Awards and Incentives for
Service Excellence (PRAISE) committee ranked 3rd place on the search
for the best PRAISE committee.
Aside from the plaque of recognition, the BSU PRAISE committee also
received a cash incentive of Php. 2,500.
The recognition was based on the accomplishment report of the PRAISE
committee from 2005 up to 2008. The Cordillera Association of Regional
Executives served as the Search Committee.
The awards were formally received during the culmination and awards
program of the 109th Civil Service Anniversary held at the Prince Plaza
Hotel on September 23, 2009.
