BSU Signs Implementing Guidelines for Faculty Exchange with
Princess of Naradhiwas University

	Mr. Chongrak Palasai, president of Princess of Naradhiwas University (PNU), Thailand and Dr. Rogelio D. Colting, president of the Benguet State University (BSU) signed the Implementing Guidelines for the Faculty Exchange Program last April 30, 2008 at the BSU Administration Conference Room. The signing was witnessed by some officials and staff of both universities. The implementing guideline was based on a Memorandum of Understanding between the two universities which was signed on July 2007. To start with, both universities agreed that a core group of faculty from BSU will be invited by PNU to Thailand to attend a joint planning workshop for a collaborative program in agriculture development.



Dr. Herbert Ockerman visits BSU
	Dr. Herbert Ockerman, president and founder of the Ockerman Foundation and a retired professor of Ohio State University visited the Benguet State University on May 8 to 9, 2008. He was accompanied by Dr. Jimmy Dili-dili, Vice President for External and Business Affairs of the Cavite State University and his staff. The Ockerman Foundation collects books and donates them to different schools around the world. His visit to BSU particularly with the University library is a good start of partnership with the Ockerman Foundation.
