BSU grads excel in licensure examinations

Two graduates of Benguet State University (BSU), Dindo B. Agsalog and Bernalyn M. Alos ranked third and fourth, respectively in the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering licensure examination held on August 22-23, 2018. BSU achieved a passing rate of 66.67% which is higher than the national passing rate of 56.66%.

“These graduates are like silent water but they run deep. They perhaps are shy or quiet but they excel in unexpected ways,” stressed Editha Carlos, Dean of the College of Engineering and Applied Technology.

Alos stated that pursuing the degree program pave the way for her to learn new experiences, knowledge and challenges which drive her to do better. On the other hand, Agsalog admits that he finds it hard to stop until he finishes a task and as a top achiever, he hopes to improve.

“I hope not only students of Engineering and Agricultural Technology will be inspired to these achievers to study harder, explore beyond limits and read many references. Feed themselves with learnings, in that way, they can understand concepts and ideas better which can help them pass board exams and be on the top,” said Carlos.

Meanwhile, there are 31 graduates who are officially Doctors of Veterinary Medicine after the licensure examination took place on August 20, 2018. BSU achieved a passing rate of 53.45% which is higher than the national passing rate of 47.89%.

As for Nutritionist Dieticians, there are 32 graduates who passed the licensure examination held on August 19-20, 2018 and garnered a BSU passing rate of 76.19% which is also higher than the national passing rate of 63.12%.

Also, results of PRC showed that 27 graduates are now Agriculturists after the licensure examination on June 24-26, 2018 listing a BSU passing rate of 39.71% which surpasses the national passing rate of 38.14%. //MLPayangdo
