BSU LT, Bokod, Buguias Produce Newly Licensed Teachers

Sixty-five graduates of Benguet State University La Trinidad, Bokod, and Buguias Campuses are now newly licensed teachers after the Philippine Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results of the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), both Elementary and Secondary Levels. The examination was conducted in January 2022.

Fifteen graduates from BSU La Trinidad Campus passed the examination for the elementary level garnering a passing rate of 88.24% which is higher than the national rating of 56.90%. For the secondary level, the Campus listed 34 passers with a passing rate of 54.15%. It also surpassed the national passing rate of 54.29%.

Divina M. Yango, Dean of the College of Teacher Education of La Trinidad Campus,  said that the result is a collective effort of the students and teachers of the college. She advised students and graduates who will take licensure exams to do their best, extend learning, and explore other opportunities that will help develop their skills.

Meanwhile, Bokod Campus registered passing rate of 60% at the elementary level and 33.33% at the secondary level, respectively. Buguias Campus also achieved an passing rating of 75% in the elementary and 41.67% in the secondary level. Bokod and Buguias Campuses surpassed the national passing rate at the elementary level. //EMBawayan
